Born and bred in Inglewood Taranaki, after school I completed my carpentry and joinery apprenticeship, and then I traveled overseas for two years to the UK and Europe on an extensive working holiday.
On my return I purchased a small Drystock farm at Midhurst and started my building business in Stratford building new houses for the next ten years. I needed a new challenge in life, something where I could use my existing experience in building.
Real estate gave me the opportunity to further my experience, and I took up a position with Taranaki Farmers Stratford in 1989 selling residential and rural properties within central Taranaki. Three years later I completed my Branch Manager’s qualifications in real estate and moved from Stratford to manage the Hawera Real Estate office for Taranaki Farmers selling rural real estate.
Spending a number of years with my family in the Waikato dairy farming and working in real estate I moved back to Taranaki in 2007 to continue farming and real estate.
Four years ago, I completed the National Diploma in Real Estate which entitled me to open my first office in Merrilands New Plymouth in 2014. We moved to a second branch in Welbourn in 2015, and now we solely operate from 266 Devon Street East, New Plymouth.

I came to New Zealand over 23 years ago from the Philippines, and started a new life here in New Zealand.
I heard that New Zealand was a friendly country, with clean water and green country side and” it’s true”. There is opportunity here for everyone to achieve their dreams, to buy their dream home or their first farm.
Over my time here in Taranaki I have renovated and redecorated a few of the houses that I have owned, which I have find a challenge. It is with this Passion that I enjoy viewing houses looking at the design, shape and decor of a home.

Patrice - Office Administrator
Patrice is part of our team at Town & Country Realty as our sole charge Senior Office Administrator where she manages all the marketing, website, digital media, and general day to day running of the office, including first point of call at reception—either by phone or call ins. Patrice brings her vast background of marketing, administration, desktop publishing, photography and freelance writing skills to our team, (resulting in many of our marketing materials being produced in-house by Patrice.) Her prior office manager experience ensures she confidently maintains the office procedures in the background, while the busy sales staff team are out listing and selling properties. Patrice has worked in both Real Estate sales and Real Estate administration over the past 10 years, (including over 4 years with Town & Country Realty) giving her an in-depth understanding of the listing, marketing and sales process. Being an active creative – Patrice completed a Digital Photography Diploma in 2017 and enjoys exhibiting her photography, and is an active member of the New Zealand Photograhic Society.
